Beach Summer Wedding in The Bahamas
The Bahamas is an archipelago of 700 islands and keys where it attracts tourist from all walks of life to have fun, explore our beautiful beaches with aquamarine waters as a perfect picture backdrop. The average temperature year round ranges between 70 – 78 degrees farenheit . New Providence (commonly referred to as Nassau) because of its proximity to the United States, untouched beauty, and with so much to offer in services has attracted couples from all over the world to have beach weddings. Whilst we host weddings all year round, the Summer months are by far the most requested months for weddings.
During the Summer months we can experience extreme heat, light to heavy rainfall and because of these weather conditions couples are advised to budget for tents to be erected for beach wedding ceremonies held midday or late afternoon to provide some shade for themselves and their guests. Water and tropical drink stations are recommended to have on hand so guests can refresh themselves or quench their thirst against the humidity of the heat during the Summer months (July – September)
Couples who might not be able to tolerate the extreme heat are advised to have their wedding ceremony early morning or evening i.e. between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. or from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. In addition to our beautiful beaches and tranquil waters found not only in Nassau but in some of the other Islands, such as Grand Bahama, Exuma, Eleuthera, Harbour Island, outdoor spaces with beautiful backdrops are available for small dinners or mid to large receptions
